Position Purpose:
Operate driven machinery, mainly for mowing grass, road and yard cleaning as well as machinery for tree felling and vegetation control.
Ensure proper maintenance of the plant premises and ensure all external areas are sound, safe, and tidy aesthetically pleasing and they present a safe environment.
Ensure that grass is properly cut to the facilities’ soft services specification and vegetation and trees are trimmed to an acceptable standard as per specific requirements.
To ensure that all required machinery to perform these tasks is in a safe and reliable condition and first line maintenance including checking of oil and fuel is adequately carried out.
Qualifications & Experience:
No qualification is required.
Drivers’ License (Code 08)
One year Previous Operator Experience or Driving Experience Basic literacy to read & write
ADDED ADVANTAGE
Experience in a construction or facilities environment. Minimum of 1 years’ experience as an Operator or a Driver.
