Position: Laboratory Cleaning Technician/ Assistant
Location: Centurion
Salary: R6 000 – R7 000 PM (depending on level of experience)
Introduction:
Our client, a prominent medical device manufacturer in South Africa, is seeking a detail-oriented individual to support the Microbiologists in maintaining a pristine and sterile environment within the Microbiology lab. The role primarily involves assisting with cleaning procedures and essential tasks that are crucial to the smooth daily operation of the laboratory.
Minimum Requirements:
- Full matric pass
- Preferably >50% achievement in Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Physical Sciences
Primary Duties:
- Routine cleaning and disinfection of surfaces and equipment to ensure a sterile environment.
- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain optimal cleanliness in compliance with industry and company standards.
- Prompt reporting of health or safety concerns to contribute to a clean and safe environment.
- Assisting Microbiologists in various small tasks.
