UMngeni-uThukela Water (UUW) is offering an exciting 24-month In-Service Training Programme for the years 2024-2026. This programme is designed to provide practical work experience to unemployed youth, helping them bridge the gap between academic learning and professional work environments.
About the In-Service Training Programme
The UUW In-Service Training Programme is a structured initiative aimed at equipping young professionals with the necessary skills and experience required in the workplace. The programme focuses on two critical fields: Analytical Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, offering valuable experience in these high-demand sectors.

Who Should Apply?
To be eligible for this programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must have completed an appropriate S4 qualification towards a National Diploma in one of the specified fields.
- Must be a South African citizen residing in KwaZulu-Natal.
- Preference will be given to permanent residents of the local municipalities within UUW operational areas.
- Applicants must be unemployed and under the age of 35.
- Applicants who have previously participated in an in-service training programme are not eligible for this opportunity.
