Introduction
To maintain the cleanliness of all designated areas as directed using appropriate equipment and/or materials as supplied and ensure that the areas to which they are assigned to remain clean and orderly.
Job description
- Ensure that consumables such as ear plugs, hair nets, beard cover, wrist covers, toilet paper and hand towels are replemished when required
- Sweeping floors on selected production area (away from the machine)
- Scrubbing and cleaning drains.
- Emptying trash and replacing liners.
- Monitor level of cleaning stock and report shortages to the Line Manager
- Ensure that cleaning is carried out according to the Master Cleaning Schedule.
- To ensure accurate completion of area logbooks as required by SOPs.
- Adhere to all Food Safety Standards and report on all issues with regards to the Food Safety Management System to the Food Safety Team.
Minimum requirements
Qualification:
- Grade 12
Experience:
- Proven working experience in a similar role
