Programme Overview
The selected learners will gain experience in various packaging processes and technical operations, ensuring they develop the necessary skills to thrive in the industry. Upon completion, learners will demonstrate competency in the following areas:
Operational Processes
- Filling and date coding
- Sealing
- Packing and unpacking
- Labelling
- First-line maintenance
- Problem-solving using structured techniques
- Applying health and safety regulations
- Quality control measures
- Asset management
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- South African citizen
- Matric/Grade 12 or relevant N qualifications with Pure Mathematics and English
- Preference given to applicants with a tertiary qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Strong technical orientation and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to initiate, take action, and focus on technical tasks
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of safe working procedures
- Ability to work under pressure
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo a formal assessment
- Willingness to work shifts or extended hours as required
