Gauteng Provincial Government invites unemployed South African youth to apply for various Learnership and Internship Programmes for 2025.

Location: South Africa

 

1. Learnership Programme: Library Services (24 Months)

Stipend: R6 500 per month

Reference Number: SACR/LIBRARY 01 (with sub-codes based on location)

Requirements:

 

Grade 12 Certificate (required)

ICT Certificate or relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)

Skills in Planning, Organization, Communication, Computer Literacy, Data Collection

Duties:

 

Assist library users with research, job searches, CAPS, Microsoft Project, and CISCO

Operate gaming room

Maintain user registers and e-resource indicators

Internship: Club Development Coordinator (3-Year Contract)

Stipend: R7 900 per month

Requirements:

 

Grade 12 Certificate

1-Year Certificate in Sport Management or related field

Experience in the sport environment

Project Management, Data Collection, and Coordination skills

Duties:

 

Administer the Club Development Programme

Provide logistical support and assist with reporting and record-keeping

Drop-off Locations: Vary per corridor (e.g., Toekomsrus Stadium, Germiston Stadium, Surrey House)

 

Internship: Active Recreation Coordinator (3-Year Contract)

Stipend: R7 900 per month
Reference Numbers: REC/2025/01 – REC/2025/04
Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Qualification in Recreation Management/Administration or Recreation Leadership (advantageous)

Duties:

  • Support the Recreation Programme and Commission
  • Compile monthly statistics and expenditure reports
  • Submit reports and maintain records

Drop-off Locations:

  • Germiston Stadium, Toekomsrus Stadium, Surrey House Johannesburg, CCMA Building Vereeniging

Application Process

  • Complete the New Z83 Form (obtainable from any public service department or www.dpsa.gov.za)
