Centlec, a key electricity distributor across the Free State and parts of the Northern Cape, invites qualified applicants to apply for Security Guard vacancies (24 Posts).

Salary Range: R225,636 – R274,344 per annum

Security Guard (x12 Posts)
Security Guard – Armed Response (x12 Posts)
Minimum Requirements
Education: Grade 10
PSIRA Certificate Grade C
Driver’s Licence: Code EB
Must be able to read and write English and another official language
Experience
Minimum 2 years in security and response duties
Firearm competency certificate will be advantageous
National Key Point (NKP) course is an added advantage
Core Responsibilities
Patrol Centlec premises and respond to reported incidents
Deter unauthorized access and investigate break-ins
Perform static duties at executive locations
Ensure protection of assets, infrastructure, and personnel
Provide feedback to the control room after patrols
Additional Requirements for Armed Response
Must pass a fitness and driving test
Undergo SAPS criminal screening
Submit to a medical test
Attend quarterly shooting practice and annual NKP shooting programme
