Applications Open for the SANParks (Kruger National Park) General Worker Post. Applications are invited for suitably qualified person to fill the above-mentioned vacant permanent position in the Marula Region of the Kruger National Park at Skukuza Rest Camp. The successful candidate will be expected to stay inside the park.
Responsibilities:
Perform cleaning duties including chalets, ablution facilities and surrounding areas to prescribed set standards.
Control inventory items.
Reporting abnormalities including equipment and maintenance faults.
Keep equipment clean and in good working condition.
Assist with the collection of supplies when necessary.
Assist with general work in the Rest Camp.
Assist in laundry duties of the Rest Camp.
Assist with other ad hoc tasks as required by supervisor/manager.
Requirements:
Grade 12 certificate
The incumbent must have hygiene and housekeeping skills
The incumbent must have knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.
Communication skills both Written and Verbal (English)
Supervisory skills will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of tools, handling and aftercare.
