Programme Overview
The Basic Traffic Officer Learnership aims to empower young South Africans by equipping them with both theoretical and practical knowledge in Traffic Law Enforcement. Participants will undergo intensive academic training and physical fitness assessments, preparing them for real-world law enforcement responsibilities.
Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will be awarded a Diploma in Basic Traffic Officer (NQF Level 4) — a qualification that serves as a gateway into a career within the public safety and traffic management sector.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Hold a Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate.
Possess a valid Code B driving licence.
Be a South African citizen residing in Mpumalanga Province.
Have no criminal record.
Be medically fit, as candidates will undergo physical assessments and strenuous exercise tests.
Be willing to undergo driving and competency tests as part of the selection process.
